Trail running collective @ Bend

Long days
on dirt

Wild Miles is a loose crew of runners who prefer mountains to medals. We meet before sunrise, share the climb, and finish when we finish.

  3. Show up early

Coffee, a quick route brief and a headcount before we go.

Who shows up

No dues, no hierarchy. Just folks who like moving through mountains together.

Runner on ridge

Dario Mendes

Founder · detail obsessive

Started Wild Miles after one too many solo weekends. Plans the routes, carries the extra gels, never turns back early.

Runner in forest

Mara Chen

Pace group · Sunrise

Knows every root on the Lava Field Loop. Runs the climbs and waits at the top with a smile.

Runner on trail

Jules Ortega

Photographer · Night runs

Brings the headlamp and the good camera. Somehow still shoots while running downhill on scree.

Why people come back

"First group run where nobody made me feel slow. I did my longest day ever and ate the best sandwich of my life at the top."
A new runner Sample quote
"They actually wait at the junctions. That is the whole review."
A regular Sample quote
Do I need to be fast?

No. We split into pace groups and regroup at every junction.

What should I carry?

Water, a snack, a layer and a phone. For long days we send a full kit list with the plan.

Is it really free?

Yes. Bring your legs and good company.

What if the weather turns?

We change the route or call it. The mountain will still be there next week.

Lace up with us

We post the weekend plan on Wednesday. Drop a note and we will send you the meeting spot.
